Bria for BroadWorks is an open-standard based softphone combining VoIP, Video over IP, Instant Messaging and Presence capabilities in a customizable user interface. Bria supports SIP SIMPLE and XMPP for IM and Presence management. In addition, it features a highly customizable GUI and new skinning engine, comprehensive Personal Address Book, branding and advertising flexibility, signaling and media encryption security features, and a wide variety of codecs including Speex, DV14, BV-32, GSM and AMR-Wideband.

Installation and Requirements

To use Bria for BroadWorks to make audio/video calls and/or send Instant Messages to a softphone, mobile or landline number, a VoIP (Voice over IP) service subscription with a local service provider or ISP is required.

• Windows 2000 SP4, Vista, XP machine with Intel Pentium III 1.3GHz or equivalent (Pentium 4 2.4 GHz recommended).
• Memory 512 MB RAM and minimum 50 MB of disk space.
• Needs broadband LAN or wireless connection.
