Call On CRM for ACT!, a recently released software application from CRM Integration Systems, provides ACT! users with digital telephony service from within the ACT! Application by using BroadSoft's voice over IP (VoIP) application platform, BroadWorks.

This revolutionary tool adds a Call Control toolbar to ACT!, the #1 Selling Contact and Customer Manager Software, that enables communications with the BroadWorks platform to call contacts in the ACT! database. Call on CRM allows users to place calls directly from ACT! contact records, matches incoming calls with a contact record or by creating a new one and consolidates communication records by automatically logging contact histories alongside e-mails, faxes, letters, and other communications.

Graphically pleasing, easy-to-use and feature-rich, the Call On CRM plug-in makes ACT! an incredibly powerful CRM solution.

Call On CRM offers features to easily and seamlessly integrate your digital telephone service and your ACT! contacts creating the most efficient contact management:

Call Management toolbar
Similar to the familiar BroadWorks Assistant, the Call Management Toolbar integrates cleanly into the ACT! interface allowing users to set preferences, manage calls, view logs, and browse to the ACT! contact who is calling while they are on the line.

Click-to-Dial icons
For ease of use, simply click and you're connected! Fully customizable, Click-to-Dial icons can be placed anywhere on the ACT! contact layout.

"Toast" Popup notification windows
Notifies users or alerts them to action on incoming and outgoing calls. The "Toast" Popup notification windows are matched to the ACT! contact record.

Fully integrated Conferencing and Call Transfer features
To increase productivity, simply click the Call On CRM toolbar for conferencing and call transfer features rather than dialing the numbers manually.

Support for multiple simultaneous calls
Managing multiple inbound and outbound calls is a breeze with Call On CRM. Simply select the active line from a drop-down list and use the call control features to take action on a line by line basis. Simplifies the process of Blind Transfers and Transfer with Consult functionality.

Web 2.0 Integration
Utilizes web APIs from WhitePages.com and ZoomInfo.com to provide reverse lookup functionality for incoming or outgoing calls. Allows the ACT! user to quickly create a new contact for an unknown caller.

Customizable Call Logs
Offering easy reference, Call On CRM allows users to create contact-specific logs, an all-calls log and a helpful missed-call log.

Installation and Requirements

  • A BroadSoft compatible phone system and ACT! version 10.0 and up.
  • The user's PC must meet the basic minimum requirements for running ACT!
  • Call On CRM requires a valid license which can be purchased from the Call On CRM website or from participating authorized Sage Certified Consultants or Broadsoft Carriers.
  • ACT! (version 10.0 and up) must be installed.
  • Make sure ACT! is not running
  • Navigate and double click on Call On CRM setup file to start installation process.
  • Follow installation instructions until completion.
  • Start ACT!
  • Click on Settings on the Call On CRM toolbar; click on Account Settings and Connection and provide required information; click on License to verify license validity.

Most issues can be resolved within 0-3 business days.

The Call On CRM website contains a FAQ section that addresses common issues. If further guidance is required, users may send an e-mail to Help@CallOnCRM.com with a detailed explanation of the problem. A support engineer will follow up via e-mail or phone call to resolve the problem.

Your purchase of the Call On CRM solution includes Getting Started Support featuring phone support for up to 30 days from the date of product registration. Getting Started Support is limited to product installation, configuration and set-up. Your system must meet the minimum system requirements to be eligible for support. For continued support, you may purchase a support plan or purchase service on a pay-per-call basis.
