iPhone Xtended Dialer

The BroadSoft Xtended Dialer is a native iPhone application. It allows you to originate calls from your iPhone through your BroadWorks powered service provider. To use it, all you need to do is download the xDialer from the Apple App Store, and configure it to work with BroadWorks Anywhere through your service provider's Xtended service interface.

Features and Benefits

The xDialer makes calls look like they originated by your BroadWorks number instead of your iPhone number. This can be beneficial in a number of scenarios:

Accounting
By using the xDialer, you can consolidate the accounting of all your business calls through your BroadWorks service provider. (NOTE: you will still incur airtime through your iPhone service provider).

Privacy
When you use the xDialer, the caller sees your BroadWorks business number - not your personal iPhone number.

Long distance and international dialing
Many BroadWorks powered service providers have very competitive international dialing rates. Using the xDialer, you can take advantage of these plans while on the road with your iPhone.

Since the call is originated by the BroadWorks-based VoIP network all of your favorite BroadWorks services are applied. The caller id presented to the caller is your BroadWorks number -- not your iPhone number, so when they call you back -- they invoke all your terminating BroadWorks services as well.

The Xtended Dialer is an iPhone application used to initiate a call via BroadWorks and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
