The Productivity Suite is a set of embedded applications designed to enhance a user's productivity while using the phone. The XML API allows third party developers to develop applications that run on the phone or integrate with other applications and services.

Installation and Requirements

The Productivity Suite is a set of productivity applications designed to improve a user's productivity when using Polycom IP phones and enhancing the overall user experience.

The Suite comprises 5 applications: three user-facing applications (Corporate Directory Access, Visual Conference Management, and Local Call Recording using a USB flash drive), one application targeted towards the IT community (real time Voice Quality Monitoring) and one targeted to the developer community (Third Party Call Control of the phone by any application).

The XML API allows developers to develop web-based applications that can deliver rich content to a Polycom IP phone.

The API can also be leveraged to integrate the phone into any PC or server-based application, allowing the phone to be tightly integrated with any communications-enabled business processes.
