Features and Benefits
Know whether a co-worker is on the phone:
- Before calling or transferring a call, know whether they're free. Offer to transfer a caller to voicemail instead.
- Know more about the nature of the co-worker's call.
- See who the other party is; know when to interrupt and when to wait.
Benefits for Executive Assistants:
- If the executive is on a business call you can hold all incoming calls. If the executive is on an important call you can put all calls through.
Benefits for Sales Managers:
- If an important customer is on a call with one of your agents you could IM the agent and offer to barge in.
- If a co-worker puts a call on hold and is looking for someone to take it, you no don't need to have her transfer it - you can grab it.
- Instead of split, resume, drop and reconnect when you want to drop one party from a conference call you can simply select the party you want to drop.
- Dial from a From a PC. Enhanced dialing translates letters into numbers (1800-ABC-CORP), "+" into international access code; etc. and is good to be used in Remote Office mode.
