RTC Zap 4 is a premium softphone targeting Residential users and Business users. Built on the Microsoft WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and the Global IP Solutions (GIPS) VoiceEngine, Zap 4 provide full interoperability with the BroadWorks^® VoIP application platform.

Zap 4 is an OEM product, providing an entire ecosystem with auto provisioning, software updates, skin deployments, and information push, allowing the Service Provider to emphasize their brand. Zap 4 is integrated with MSN, Facebook and Google Talk (XMPP), as well as Microsoft Office 2007 and BroadWorks.

Features and Benefits

This BroadSoft certified softphone contains comprehensive telephony features such as placing and answering calls, DTMF, caller ID, call timer, call history, contacts list, favorites and dial pad. Advanced features include firewall and NAT traversal, multiple lines, and support for third party call control. Desktop aware with "auto-away" on PowerPoint presentations. User features include:

• IM and presence integration with MSN and Google Talk
• Facebook integration
• User features such as drag and drop, keyboard shortcuts, and assigning pictures to contacts.
